Worldly Goods is a novel that follows the story of two Hungarian Jews, members of a prominent banking family, who are separated by war and treachery. As adults, they reunite in New York, where one has become a cold, powerful, world-famous millionaire. His primary goal is to seek revenge on his uncle and cousin, whom he holds responsible for the death of his parents.
